House burgled in Jammu: cash, jewellery taken away

Jammu: Unidentified miscreants entered a house situated in Rehari colony in Jammu city in the afternoon yesterday and decamped with sixty thousand cash and gold jewellery worth of Rs 12 lac.
According to the report, burglars broke into a Public Works Department (PwD) quarter of a family in Rehari colony in broad day light yesterday between 3-6pm, when the inmates of the house were away for a wedding function. The family has alleged that the thieves stole 60K cash and jewellery valued at Rs 12 lakh from their quarter and fled away.

After the incident, the police was informed and they brought a forensic team, sniffer dogs along with them to thoroughly probe the crime scene to nab the culprits.
The have registered a case and are still investigating the burglary.
