Constable found dead in hotel in Jammu

Jammu: A retried Border Security Force (BSF) constable posted in Jammu was found dead in a hotel at jewel in Jammu on Thursday.

According to the report, a BSF constable posted in Jammu was found dead in a room of a hotel at Jewel area of Jammu The BSF personnel recently got retirement from the BSF from his  service.

The retired BSF constable was identified as Subash Maratrao (44) from Maharashtra.

“We’re basically from Maharashtra but currently living in Assam. My husband was posted in Assam earlier then he got transferred in Jammu.

“I’m staying with my kids in Assam. He got retirement from his service on September 30. We talked to eachother on 1 oct.

“Then I learned that my husband away on the next day in the morning in the hotel, where he was staying.

“The army officials didn’t informed me earlier that my husband is no more. They told me that he is not talking to anyone and I must have to come to Jammu.

“I told them I cannot come as I have to tend to my children then later the army officials apprised me that my husband is no more.

“My husband planned to make home after retirement”, said, Wife of the deceased BSF constable.

“He has two kids”, said, Father of the victim.
