Jammu: Man brutally killed wife

Jammu: A man was arrested today for allegedly killing his wife with a hammer in his home in Ari village of Mendhar of district Poonch.
As per report, the incident happened when a man in a fit of anger repeatedly hit his wife with a hammer on her head due to which she died on the spot in her home at Ari village in Mendhar of Poonch.

After killing his wife the man dumped his wife’s body in a pool in the house and after recovering the body the police nabbed the victim’s husband.
The accused has been identified as Mohd Khalil r/o Ari village of Mendhar of Poonch.
The man’s motive to kill his wife is a matter of police probe, the report said.
The police has seized the weapon used in the commission of crime and a probe has been set into motion.
