1 killed in accident in Jammu

Jammu: A man was killed in Deoli village of Bishnah in Jammu on Thursday after a vehicle crushed him and succumbed to his wounds.
According to the report, the accident happened when a man was resting in a street in Deoli village of Bishnah in Jammu then a speeding car came and ran over him, following which the victim suffered grave injuries.

After the mishap, the badly injured man was rushed to Bishnah in hospital but succumbed to his injuries later.
The deceased has been identified as Ashu Kumar (27) s/o Kasturi Lal r/o Deoni village of Bishnah, Jammu.
The accused namely Rinku has been arrested by Bishnah police and a case has been registered under relevant sections of law, while the car of the culprit has also been seized by the police.
