Police nabs officer in J&K

The Srinagar police today has nabbed a DySp rank officer serving in J&K Police for various charges in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

As per report,  a team of Srinagar police today raided the residence of a J&K Deputy superintendent of police (DySp) at Sanat Nagar near BSNL exchange office in Srinagar district and seized mobile, laptops and electronic devices from his home.

The officer has been identified as Sheikh Aadil Mushtaq r/o of Sanat Nagar area of Srinagar.

A case FIR NO. 149 0f 2023 U/S 167, 193, 201, 210, 218, 221 of IPC and  7, 7 A corruption Act has been registered against the accused at police Station Nowgam and an investigation has been started in this matter.
