Ruckus broke out as college in Jammu restricts entry to students without uniform

Jammu: Ruckus broke out on Wednesday when several college students in Jammu’s Kathua district were stopped by security guards from entering the college premises allegedly for not wearing college uniform.
The students alleged that they were not given any notice prior and claimed that GDC Kathua issued the order nor it was not pasted on the college’s notice board. However, the college authorities denied the students allegations saying that the students were told to come in college wearing uniforms.

However, the college authorities has claimed that the students were informed to come in college wearing uniforms as there also outsiders who enter in the college premises and no student is allowed in college sans uniform.
