Huge Success: Police arrested several burglars in Jammu

Jammu: In a major success, the Samba police arrested several burglars solving three theft cases in Samba district.

The report said that the Samba police solving three burglary cases apprehended eight hardcore thieves and recovered a bike, a Mahindra load carrier and sanitary goods of worth 6 lakh from the possession of the criminals.

The apprehended burglars were identified as Sanjeev kumar alias Sanju, Sandeep s/o Salwinder Masih r/o  Tehsil Vijaypur of Samba, Avinash Kumar alias Suraj s/o Satpal r/o Vijaypur of Samba, Shiva Kumar s/o Radhey Sham r/o Vijaypur of Samba, Harsh s/o Pammi r/o Vijaypur of Samba, Rahul Chopra s/o Bachan Lal r/o  Vijapur of Samba, Sunil Kumar s/o  Om Prakash  r/o Kadhal tehsil Bari Brahmana district Samba, Mohd Sher Khan s/o Mohd Hanief r/o Phlian Mandal tehsil Satwari of Jammu and Sher Ali s/o Mohd Sadiq r/o Dhama tehsil Majalta of Udhampur.

The arrested culprits are notorious burglars involved in several thefts in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and Bari Brahmana.

Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh has shared a data in which he apprised that they have nabbed 128 thieves and solved 65 theft cases  in eight months and have been trying to arrest criminals involved in various crimes in Samba.
