“Till yesterday, the JKSSB was saying that they have made changes in conditions of their contract for all companies but why there is only one agency (Aptech) which is named”, he alleged.
“That company which is debarred from taking JKSSB tests and has assented that they’re prohibited is like a burglar asking permission for burglary and which has been granted”, he asserted.
“After this Aptech scam episode, the JKKSB officials brazenly appeared in front of the media and defended their decision of awarding contracts to Aptech”, he added.
“They have openly said that they followed general financial rule in granting the tender to the company , but there is also clause in the conditions of the contract, which says that its nature can’t be altered”, said Vinkal.
“They somehow compromised the contract’s conditions and what they have done they’re shielding it”, he remarked.
“The officials taking advantage of their high administrative positions with some ministers has reaped the benefits of corruption and now they’re trying to protect themselves from law”, he said.
“We want stringent law and assurance from the local authorities that the upcoming exams must not be conducted by any private agency”, he demanded.
“Our govt is capable to take papers as they have the resources to conduct and we want our tests should be taken on fast track basis and we don’t want delay of 5-6 months in our exams and deferment of tests is not a considerable solution of our woes”, he said.
“Exams shouldn’t happen that was our demand but from past 9 months our burning demand is strong law against paper leak”, Vinkal said.
“This is the proof that malpractices happened during exams and Wasim Ajaz’s height should be measured, who got selected in Fire & Emergency exam”, he accused.
“Bilal Shah and Yakub Dar were the supervisiors of that exam and they’re being trialed in the departmental inquiry by the court”, he told reporters.
“LG sir has made a RK Goyal committee who are probing this case, but what about the internal probe of the exam hall, why there is no data, footage of the cheating which took place it means they have erased all the evidence to save themselves”, he added.
“The authorities should take action against the scammers and cheaters so that evidence should be secured from being erased”, he further added.
“They have defended the scammers who used to ask about selection list, who used to call themselves as meritorious, but when merit list was declared their houses were raided cause that was their families which was involved in scams and all the siblings of these families got appointments”, he asserted.
“LG and JKSSB has agreed that scandals has occurred in recruitments, but not for once they took any action that’s why the JKSSB has this audacity to say that they have conducted papers with transparency”, he said.
“We have names of people who are found indulged in exam scandal and what kind of privilege the culprits were given that individuals from the similar family were allowed to sit in exams”, he asked.
“There is a mobile phone which is in the custody of R.K Goyal sir which belongs to an accused, we also have its data back-up and it should be sent in a forensic lab to reveal locations, phone call history, bank statements of all those culprits”, he said.
“Our major demands are strong law against paper leak, ban on private companies to take JKSSB exams and scammers should be charge sheeted”, he further said.
