Several anguished villagers of the Palli panchayat Samba showed their resentment over the conduct of Prime Minister’s rally held on 24th April 2022 in their village as even after two months of the event, they are not able to use their land for agriculture.

One of the locals said, “When the Prime Minister Sh Narendera Modi came to our village to adress the public rally, our agricultural land was demarcated and used by the local administration for the event. But even after the two months of his visit, we are not able to use it for farming as due to demarcation, the soil is not levelled and suitable for land cultivation.”
Another villager said that their entire crop field was cleared by the local administration at that time and till now they have not received any compensation. It has become difficult for them to recognise the threshold of their fields while few farmers have managed somehow others are still facing difficulty. So, the local regime should help, divide the land equally amongst them and mark visible boundries of the fields to avoid any future confrontation’s amongst the farmers.
“Our irrigation canals were disturbed and the drains near our houses was filled for the seating arrangement but now all the rain water directly flood our houses and the local govt didn’t fixed it yet. As the land is filled with water there are no play grounds for children anymore and I fear there are chances they might become drug addicts,”a local said.
He further added that they appeal to the local govt to pay heed to their concerns at the earliest and help to aid the land suitable for the cultivation again.
