In an another incident of snatching, scooty-borne masked men ransacked a woman at Vijaypur railway chowk, Jammu.
The incident happened when the woman named Manju Rani resident of Ramgarh area of Samba was standing at the Vijaypur railway chowk when scooty-borne masked men came snatched her purse which contained 8,000 rupees and fled from the spot.
The local residents allgedly said that, snatching has become an everyday act of these thieves and mostly these are the local drug addicts who are carrying out such burglaries.The local police should be vigilant on their movement.
Meanwhile, the Bari Brahmana police has recovered 150 motorcycles from the thieves and has advised local people those who have lost their vehicles to come to Bari Brahmana police station and after checking they can take their stolen bikes.
The Police department Samba has advised the local people to be active and should try to stop the snatchers instead of being a spectator.
