Acting tough against the bovine smugglers , the Ghagwal police team of Samba police on Wednesday foiled a cattle smuggling bid near Tapiyal area of Samba district.
Around 15 bovines were safely rescued by the police and later shifted to safer places.

Acting on the specific inputs on illegal transportation of animals from Jammu to Kashmir, police teams intercepted a truck and during a search 15 animals were rescued and the truck was seized . Unfortunately the cattle smugglers safely absconded from the spot . Police is on the hunt to nab those miscreants at the earliest.
The animals were being transported to the valley with utmost cruelty and without any arrangement of food or water. All these bovine animals were being transported to the valley without any permission of competent authority.
