Women of Qasim Nagar , Jammu staged a protest outside the PHE department over the acute water shortage in their colony.

The protesting women alleged that they are not getting regular water supply for a long time and moreover there is no proper timing of supply in their area. They said at times the water supply remains suspended for eight to ten consecutive days even during harsh weather conditions these days .
These women demand a permanent solution to this crisis.
AEE , PHE concluded a meeting regarding he same today and has assured that a possible solution to the problem will be charted out soon.
