The Border Security Force (BSF) has shot down a Pakistani drone that was carrying heroin and a pistol in Punjab’s Ferozepur, officials said on Saturday.

The drone, a DJI Mavic 3 Classic made in China, was carrying 500 grams of heroin, a pistol, and a magazine, officials added.

“Alert troops of BSF Punjab intercepted a Pakistani drone that violated Indian airspace. BSF personnel immediately fired at the drone, subsequently brought it down using technical measures,” the BSF Punjab Frontier tweeted.According to officials, this was the second seizure of the day by the BSF Punjab troops, where a drone and narcotics were recovered.
