The Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police Saturday said that the traffic along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway has been slowed down as several vehicles have suffered a breakdown even as the nomadic movement has also affected the commute along the only all-weather road connecting Kashmir valley to the outside world.
“Slow movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW between Ramban and Banihal due to breakdown of vehicles and movement of nomadic flocks. Commuters are advised to keep patience, follow lane discipline, overtaking will lead to congestion,” said the traffic authorities on their official X-handle.
