Massive fire breaks out in Jammu factory

Jammu: A massive fire broke out in a mattress making factory of Gangyal area of Jammu on Saturday. A huge fire broke out inside the factory.
As per report, a huge fire broke out at Nindiya mattress making factory in Gangyal area of Jammu this afternoon. The fire at the factory sent huge plumes of smoke into the air.

A factory employee alleged that around 2:15pm the fire broke out at the factory and the J&K police and local firefighters responded and arrived late at the scene around 2:30pm. Even when the fire tenders reached at the factory the vehicle which they brought with them had no water facility in it and thus another fire department vehicle was brought at the scene to start the fire fighting operation.
The employees of the factory, the fire department, including the police, are present on the spot and are trying to control the fire.
Goods worth crores of rupees are burnt to ashes in the fire. The reason for the fire is not clear yet. No casualties have been reported.
