Burglars held by Police in Jammu, lakhs recovered

Jammu: The Gangyal police on Tuesday held three non-local burglars who are resident of Bihar state and recovered 3 lakh and 16K from their possession.
According to the report, on 23 October, a case FIR NO. 111/23 U/S 457, 380, 34 of IPC was registered at Gangyal police station by an owner of a paint factory situated in Gangyal area of Jammu city that three thieves stole 3 lac and 16 thousand from his establishment and escaped.

Gangyal Police station incharge Jaswinder Singh on the basis of this complaint started inquest proceedings and after examining CCTV footage in the area identified the accused and nabbed them.
The arrested thieves have been identified as Bablu Mandal s/o Joginder Mandal r/o Ekchari, Bhagalpur of Bihar at present Digiana, Jammu, Azad s/o Shivam Mahato r/o sector no.6, House-725, Nirala of Delhi at Trikuta Nagar , Rohit Kumar s/o Rajesh Tanti at present Shiva Chowk, Trikuta Nagar of Jammu city.
