Miscreants burgled Dhaba in Jammu

Some miscreants on yesterday night entered into a roadside dhaba in Kathua looted cash, goods from the establishment and caused a major loss to the Dhaba owner.
According to the report, some miscreants reportedly robbed Mona Dhaba situated in Bagial area of Kathua on Jammu-Pathankot National highway. The thieves stole flour, gas cylinder, utensils and some other goods kept in the dhaba.

“I have to say this with a heavy heart that the dhaba owner’s establishment and his house has been burgled twice.
“I don’t understand why the police personnel who keep vigil at night on this road don’t see witness such robberies.
“The burglars are drug addicts I think otherwise why would a thief steal utensils. There is no security here on the road and the police nabs these drug addict boys and later release them.
“The Dhaba proprietor gathered money and invested in this but now he has been robbed. He has suffered Rs 1.50 lac loss”, a man said.
“My friend this morning apprised me on phone that our dhaba’s locks are broken and goods are strewn everywhere.
“I went to the dhaba and saw everything strewn on the floor. The thieves have stolen 2 cylinders, utensils, Rs 2500K”, Said Vicky, owner of the Mona dhaba.
