“It is very unfortunate that these monsters snatched the only child of their parents. He went to his tutorial and the kidnappers abducted him in between Bantalab and Raipur area.

“The abductors called his father who is a bank employee and demanded Rs 3 lakh for his release. He took leave and Sarpanch sir and all of us went with him.

“Raghu’s kidnappers kept changing their locations and at first they called us to come at Sarwal, then to Narwal and then to Rehari and warned us to not inform police.

“We told the abductors that we’re have arranged money but please let us talk with Raghu first.

“His father arranged the ransom money and then in the evening at 7pm they called us to come without police.

“We can’t say that police did not did its job because they cooperated with us but I have only one complain with the local police that they couldn’t trace the location of the culprits even after having sophisticated tech at their disposal.

“After 7pm they switched off their phones. The man is familiar to us and has been living in the same area where he kidnapped Raghu. He befriended him.

“This incident is very heart wrenching. The police raided the accused’s house last night with a man and nabbed the kidnapper. Later, after the accused’s confession the deceased’s body was recovered from a dense Keran forest area of  Jammu outskirts.

“We hope that the police play its role in nabbing the whole gang and deliver justice to the parents”, a man told media.

“He was my cousin brother. I was on my shop and his mother came there and informed me that our brother has been kidnapped.

“I asked my uncle and aunt do you want to talk to kidnapper or want to register a police  complain first.

“We received abductors call who told us to come to Barnai chowk but later apprised us that we have many people with us and told us to come near BSF  school but later said to come to Pawan ice-cream outlet.

“My car was in the center and it was accompanied by SHO, SSP sir’s car. He later told us to come to Baby caters then to J&K Bank Rehari.

“He then told us to enter a nearby lane but later switched off his phone. We kept searching for the boy but couldn’t find him.

“The SSP and SHO sir later told us to go to our home and we will trace the boy for you but I think they had traced the boy that time but didn’t informed  us.

“We are not safe in Jammu. The kidnapper used to study in Raipur college and later was staying in a room in Sarwal. We want hanging for the culprit.

“We want justice for our brother”, a cousin brother of the deceased said.
