Terrorist killed in encounter in J&K

Kashmir: The security forces on Friday claimed that they have killed a terrorist in Arihal area of Pulwama in their Cordon and Search operation (CASO).
As per sources, the security forces on getting inputs from reliable sources launched a Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Arihal village of Pulwama late in the night which later turned into an encounter, when they established a contact with a terrorist there which was later gunned by the security forces in a gunfight.
The killed terrorist has been identified as Kifayat Ayoub alias Mohd Ayoub r/o Pinjoora, Shopian.
The police has recovered a one pistol, two grenades, two magazines and five rounds from his possession.
The security forces have advise local people to avoid going to the encounter till the next orders. A case has been registered at Pulwama police station and a probe is on.
