Former J&K Minister Lal Singh gets bail

Former J&K Minister Lal Singh and Chief of Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan Party  on Thursday has been granted  anticipatory bail by court in an alleged money laundering case.

Chowdhary Lal Singh was sent to 14-day judicial remand on November and was lodged at District Jail Ambphalla in Jammu city in a money laundering case.

Chowdhary Lal Singh was nabbed from a residence in the Chowadi area of Sainik Colony on November 7 after a special court dismissed his anticipatory bail application.

Earlier, the ED had requested for 14-day remand yet was granted seven-day custody.
