Mastermind of Dangri terror attack killed in ongoing Rajouri encounter

The Indian army on Thursday has claimed that they have killed the terrorist who was involved in January 1 Dangri and May 5 Kandi, 2023 terror attacks in the ongoing terrorist encounter in Baji Maal area of Kalakote of Rajouri district.

As per sources,  the killed terrorist has been as identified as ‘Quari’ who belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit and was highly ranked terrorist. The killed terrorist who Indian army has gunned down is a Pak citizen and has been trained on Pak & Afghan Front while another terrorist has been shot down by the Indian army along with Quari.

Quari, was active in Rajouri-Poonch alongwith his group from past one year. He is also believed to be mastermind of Dangri & Kandi attacks. The Pak-backed terrorist was sent to revive terrorism in the region and was expert in IEDs, operating & hiding from Caves & a trained Sniper.

On May 5, five soldiers were killed after terrorists triggered a massive explosion in the Kesari area of the Kandi hamlet in Rajouri while on January 1, unknown terrorists opened fire and killed five people and on the next day i.e. January 2, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted in the vicinity of the attack scene exploded and killed two minors.
