Terrorist killed in ongoing Rajouri encounter

Rajouri: A terrorist has been gunned down in the ongoing anti-terrorist encounter while another army jawan has lost life taking the toll to five in Bajimaal area of Kalakote of Rajouri district on Thursday.
As per sources, a terrorist has been killed by the Indian army while another army trooper lost his life in the line of duty in the ongoing Rajouri encounter which has entered its second day.

On November 22, a gunfight broke out between security personnel and terrorists in Bajimaal area of Dharmsal of Rajouri, when hidden terrorists in Bajimaal forests opened fire at a search party of security forces, which resulted in death of two army captains, two jawans and wounds to three other soldiers yesterday.
While on Thursday another soldier has lost his life while fighting against the terrorists in Baji Maal of Kalakote during the encounter which has raised the death toll of Indian soldiers to 5 till now.
The soldiers who made supreme sacrifice for the country and fought against the terrorists in Rajouri encounter were identified as Captain MV Pranjal of 63 Rashtriya Rifles, Captain Shubham and Havildar Majid of 9 PARA while the identity of the fourth soldier and fifth is yet to be known.
