“Irfan Pathan named me as little Virat Kohli”: Momin Liaquat Dar

A little boy from Kashmir’s Kulgam district has claimed that he has been named as little Virat Kohli of Kashmir by Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan.

The kid has claimed that he met Former all-rounder Irfan Pathan in Jaipur during his cricket’s master class, where he named him as Junior Virat Kohli. He told media he secured 1st position in his master-class.

The kid has said that he studies in 4th class in a school in Kulgam. His father is fruit seller there.

“My family supports me alot. Irfan Pathan told me that I will surely play with Indian team one day and apprised me that I will play like Virat Kohli someday. I have been selected to learn cricket at Cricket Academy of Pathans in Jodhpur, Rajasthan where I learn cricket free of cost”,

Indian cricketers Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan opened their academy, Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP)  hoping to provide world-class infrastructure to the talented cricketers and to also teach young learners.
