J&K Govt includes third gender in job forms

J&K: The J&K government on Wednesday has issued an order through which the J&K transgenders community now can also apply for various govt jobs which will be advertised by the local regime in near future.
As per the report, the J&K General Administration Department (GAD) has issued an order in they have apprised to all the administrative units of J&K to do modifications and add third gender/ any other in the online application form of govt jobs for the transgenders as per Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019.

Keeping in mind the aspirations of trans community of J&K the GAD, Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma issued this order.
