            Cops injured in stone pelting by mob in Jammu

Jammu: Two J&K policemen, including two NCB personnel, were injured after a group of druggists hurled stones at them when they went to arrest narco-smugglers in Sarore adda area of Bari Brahmana last night.
As per report, the incident took place when a team of J&K cops and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) personnel went to Sarore area of Bari Brahmana in Samba, after which a group of drug smugglers pelted stones on a posse of J-K police and NCB, following which two J&K police cops and two NCB personnel suffered wounds.

After the incident the wounded cops were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A case was registered at Bari Brahmana police station against the culprits.
