Woman claims death threat from family members in Jammu

Jammu: A woman teacher on Thursday has claimed that she is facing death threats from her family members in Jammu.
According to the report, a senior woman lecturer who is teaching at Hari Singh Higher Secondary School, Residency Road in Jammu has alleged that she is facing death threats and harassment from her family members. The matter came to fore when the lecturer narrated her ordeal in a video on social media.

“My family members are pestering me because I’m a senior lecturer in Hari Singh School when I became principal they got me appointed in Jamola.
“My brother Vimal, Kanchan, Krishan, Rajrani and their kids and one of my brother who is living in Janipur are harassing me.
“They all wanted to kill me saying that I’m mentally unstable. They are spoiling my life. First they told me to take care of my kids.
“Then they said they will drown in river. My life is in danger 24×7. They are after me due to financial dispute.
“I have also appealed to LG sir also for the same. I fear they will murder me or they will do something bad with me.
“If anything happens to me my family members will be responsible for it”, said, Woman lecturer in the video.
