Three hurt in fatal road mishap in Jammu

Jammu: In a fatal road mishap three people have suffered wounds in Tarore area of Samba on Jammu-Pathankot National highway on Thursday.
As per report, the mishap took place when metal building material of an under-construction flyover fell on a moving bus (PB02003943) which was going to Punjab from Jammu at Tarore in Samba. The construction material, reportedly an iron rod suddenly fell on the bus, hit with the driver’s window after which the driver lost control on the vehicle and rammed the bus in the divider.

After the incident the bus operator and two other passengers suffered injuries who were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
“I was driving then suddenly some building material fell on the bus. My shoulder is gravely hurt. We were going to Amritsar from Jammu.
“Some passengers are hurt. The highway authorities are responsible for this mishap”, said Mr Harjinder Singh, Driver of the bus.
“An iron rod fell on the bus from the flyover due to which our driver suffered injuries on his shoulder”, an eye-witness of the mishap added.
