Protesters confront police in Jammu

Jammu: Hundreds of PHE daily wagers on Wednesday confronted police at Jewel in Jammu. The demonstrators took part in agitation demanding regularisation and hike in their monthly salaries from the local government.
About hundreds of protesters gathered in PHE department at jewel and started a march on the road which was disrupted by the deployed police personnel.

Chaos erupted around afternoon today when scores of PHE daily wagers led protest on the road in Jewel for their demands. This prompted police to block the protestors from halting the vehicular movement.
