Bovine smuggler hit vehicle, escaped in Jammu

Jammu: A bovine smuggler on Wednesday hit a vehicle in Kathua district of Jammu and escaped from the spot.
As per report, the incident happened when a truck (PB06V5059) which came from Punjab carrying cattle in it hit a truck on the way at Captain chowk in Kathua and fled away, when it was trying to avoid police action.
After the incident, the bovine smuggler escaped from the scene of incident abandoning his truck.
“A truck was coming from Punjab and some men tried to stop it when they noticed the vehicle speeding without any goods.
“On seeing the men the truck driver sped up and when it reached captain chowk its driver jumped from it and it collided with an approaching truck.
“The cattle smuggling has increased here and we want govt to make a new law for it to imprison bovine smugglers.
“We thank god that no one suffered any wounds in this mishap.”, said, Devender Singh Sunny, an eyewitness of the mishap.
The bovines in the vehicle have been rescued and the police is looking for the absconding accused.
