Jammu: Man murders brother over property dispute
Jammu: A man has allegedly murder his elder brother following a dispute over a piece of land here this morning in Gandoh area of Jammu’s Doda district.
The accused has been identified as Imtiaz Ahmed r/o Bhalessa of Doda.

One Imtiaz Ahmed of village Gandoh, Bhalessa block of Doda who was working as a Special Police Officer (SPO) in J&K police got into an altercation over grass cutting with his brother in Bhalessa, when the argument heated the accused younger brother in rage hit his elder brother with a wooden log causing him grave injuries.
After the incident, the victim was rushed to Gandoh hospital but seeing the man’s critical condition the doctors referred him to GMC, Doda. However, the victim succumbed to his wounds on the way when he was being taken to GMC Doda.
The deceased has been identified as Ishtiyaq Ahmed r/o Bhalessa, Doda. He was working as a teacher in Doda.
The victim’s autopsy is being done at Gandoh hospital in Doda after which his body will be handed over to his kins for final rites.
The police has apprehended the SPO for killing his elder brother and a probe is on.
