Locals caught thief in Jammu in broad day light

Jammu: A thief was caught in Gorkha Nagar area of Jammu city by natives of the area on Monday in broad day light.
The report said that a burglar was caught by the natives of Gorkha Nagar in Jammu city by the vigilant local residents of the area and later handed him over to Jammu police, when they saw the burglar thieving in nearby shop there.

“This man came at our ward corporator shop’s yesterday and stole his mobile phone and today he has come again.
“The locals caught him and the police is taking him to jail”, a local man said.
“He is an addict. This thief has given the mobile to some other boy and a victim’s relative recovered it from it. He is intoxicated.
“We went to the burglar’s house but his family members said that their son is an addict and they have no relation with him now”, another local man added.
“He stole my mobile from my shop. I took help of a boy and accessed the CCTV footage and saw the burglar’s image.
“I called two boys and told them to watch the CCTV footage and they identified the thief and they went to his house and brought him here.
“The burglar has formatted the phone and the mobile’s sim is missing”, the victim man said.
