Woman accused arrested for provoking man to suicide in Jammu

Jammu:
The Samba police who is probing the mysterious suicide case of a man yesterday arrested a woman who allegedly provoked the victim to end his life in Rakh Amb Talli area of Samba. Along with the woman four other accused persons have already been nabbed by the police in this case earlier.

As per report, the Samba police constituted a police team comprising of SHO Samba Daljit Singh under the supervision of Deputy SP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary to know the actual cause of death of one Bodh Raj s/o Lalo Ram age 52 years, who was under treatment at GMC as poison case and expired at GMC Jammu on 20 July. The case was registered on 20 july in Rakh Amb Talli area of Samba.

In their initial probe, the police registered the said case under section 174 of CRPC at the Rakh Amb Talli police station in Samba, which was later converted into section 306 of the IPC, when the police discovered that the victim was instigated to end his life by the accused persons.

Probe of the case is being conducted by SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh under the supervision of Deputy SP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
