FIR registered against former MLA in Jammu

Jammu: A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against Former MLA and NC leader Dr Gagan Bhagat at R.S Pura police station today over his derogatory remarks on LG Manoj Sinha and Brahmin community on X.
The FIR has been filed for outraging religious feelings (IPC 295A) against the former MLA.

As per report, the matter came to light when former MLA and NC leader Dr Gagan Bhagat on 15 sept insulted LG Manoj Sinha and abused Brahmin community in his comments on X, after which a complaint was registered in LG Greivance cell.
Acting on the complaint, the RS Pura police registered an FIR against the accused U/S 295A of the IPC.
