       J&K: Police arrested absconder avoiding arrest from years
Jammu: A team of PS Pouni of Reasi apprehended one absconder, who was evading his arrest for last three years.
The absconder man was identified as Mohd Ashraf s/o Abdul Aziz r/o Gundha Tehsil Khwas, Distt Reasi absconding in case FIR Nos. 48/2018 U/S 379 RPC and 49/2018 US 379 RPC of Police Station Pouni and against whom 02 different warrants US 512 CrPC were issued by Hon’ble Court of Munsiff JMIC, Reasi has been arrested by Police party of P/S Pouni.

The arrest was made by a team led by SHO Pouni, Insp. Purab Singh under the supervision of DySP HQ Reasi, Neeraj Padyar- JKPS.
The Accused person was evading his arrest by disguising his identity and changing locations and due to which he couldn’t be apprehended for years.
District Police Reasi has resolved to leave no stone unturned to put hardcore & long absconding criminals to justice by arresting & producing them before respective Hon’ble courts for judicial determination of their cases, trial under laid down procedure of the law of the land.
