                  Jammu: Four died in road mishap

Jammu: In a tragic incident, four people lost their life when a vehicle in which they were met with mishap on Tuesday.
According to the report, the mishap took place when an ill fated truck (JK03J0312) going to Srinagar from Jammu met with an accident at Sher Bibi area of Banihal and fell into a deep gorge there, following which the driver his brother and two other occupants of the vehicle died on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Mohd Afzal Garu (40), Mohd Altaf Garu (36), Irfan Ahmed (33) r/o Anantnag and Shafqat Ahmed (29) r/o Anantnag.
The impact of the incident was such that it shattered the truck into pieces. The Bibi Sher area is the hotspot of accident where so many mishaps have taken place earlier also, the report said.
The Sher Bibi area road has been hit with a landslide and the vehicular movement has been stopped there while the locals have been advised to seek traffic advisory before travelling on the route.
