Jammu: Temple asked Devotees to wear appropriate clothes for entry

Jammu: Temple authorities of Shiv Mandir situated at Old Bus stand in Jammu’s Rajouri district have asked its devotees to wear appropriate clothes before entering the temple’s premises on Sunday.
According to the report, the matter came to light when the Shiv Temple committee of old bus stand in Rajouri pasted a poster outside the wall of the sanctum, which has barred devotees to not wear western outfits such as skirts, ragged jeans to enter the temple.

Earlier, the Bawe Mata Temple in Jammu’s Bahu Fort area issued a similar order asking the devotees to wear appropirate attires to have darshan of the deity.
