                 Police arrested with Cannabis in Jammu
Jammu: The Jammu police on Wednesday arrested youth for consuming and possessing Cannabis (Ganja) from them on Sidhra highway in Qasim Nagar area of Jammu.
The report said that the two boys and a girl were nabbed by the SHO Arti Thakur and her police team for possessing and consuming cannabis on Sidhra highway in Qasim Nagar, when the police party checked the accused persons on seeing their Swift car stopped on the road.

When the police noticed the stopped car they inquired its occupants the reason of their halt, but when they said that they have stopped to relieve themselves the police then checked them and recovered cannabis from them.
After the recovery of drugs from the accused persons the police took them to the police station.
The Qasim Nagar forest area is the same place where scores of people have been found dead due to drug overdose earlier, the report said.
