LG Sinha hands over appointment letters to NoKs

On the occasion of Teachers Day on Tuesday the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha handed over appointment letters to three Next of Kins (NoKs) of three man killed by army in a staged encounter at a remote hilly village at Amshipura in Shopian district of south Kashmir in July 2020.
The deceased were Imtiaz Ahmed, Abrar Ahmed and Mohammed Ibrar whose family had claimed that the victims were labourers and not terrorists.

The LG also handed over appointment letter to a widow woman also namely Neeta Devi, widow of Chager Kumar of Udhampur, who was killed in an IED blast planted by terrorists that occurred at Salathia chowk in Udhampur in March, 2022.
The LG handed the appointment letters to the relatives of victims at the Raj Bhawan in Srinagar.
