Jammu: IED found on National Highway

Jammu: An Improvised explosive device (IED) was diffused which was discovered on Jammu-Poonch National Highway in Rajouri on Sunday. The traffic that was halted for approximately two hours was restored after the explosive device was safely diffused averting a major tragedy.
According to the report, the traffic on Jammu-Poonch National Highway was suspended after receiving the first-word information about an IED in Narian area of Rajouri, after which Police teams and security forces rushed to the spot and the bomb disposal squad was also called to the site.

On checking, it was found to be an IED which was diffused without causing any damage and traffic was restored.
