Police arrested men for attempt to murder in Jammu

Jammu: The Samba police yesterday apprehended two persons for attempting to murder a man in Ramgarh area of Samba.

The accused have been identified as Hardeep Singh alias Bunty s/o Surinder Singh r/o Dadyal Tehsil Ramgarh of Samba and Kamal Kumar alias Pana s/o Madan Lal r/o Sheikupur Palouta Tehsil Ramgarh of Samba.

An attempt to murder case FIR No. 48/2023 U/S 307/336/341/323/504/506/34 IPC stands registered at Police Station Ramgarh and investigation is on.
The accused Hardeep Singh alias Bunty was also involved in case FIR No. 25/2021 u/s 451/427/382/323 registered at Police Station Ramgarh during the year 2021.

The  arrests were made by a police team comprising SHO Police Station Ramgarh Sudesh Kumar and ASI Kasturi Lal under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.

Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh has told the police to show no  there mercy towards criminals & miscreants in Samba district & culprits involved in murderous & other attack cases and they should be apprehended on immediate basis.
