           Police arrests man on daughter’s complaint in Jammu

Jammu: A shocking incident has come to fore, in which a daughter has lodged a police complaint against her father in Samba district of Jammu yesterday, after which the minor victim’s girl father was arrested by the Samba police.
As per police sources, the matter came to fore when a 17-year-old girl student lodged a police complaint against her own father in Samba, after which police arrested the accused saying the nature of the crime as heinous.

The arrested father has been identified as Rajesh r/o of district Samba. He has been remanded to police custody for a period of seven days and is being interrogated by the police.
A case FIR NO. 199/2023 has been registered against the accused at Samba police station quoting the matter heinous.
The matter is being probed by a police team comprising of Investigating Officer (IO) SI Shabir Ahmed and SHO Police Station Samba Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
