“It’s been five days since the police has not brought justice to my son. When his dead body came here the police told us to cremate him.

“If there is a govt here in J&K then it should provide justice to my son or else we will leave Rajouri”, said Father of the deceased man.

“Our brother was brutally murdered some days ago in Kha Jamola and today we’re staging protest for him when the police failed to do anything against the murderer.

“There has been several murders which happened in different areas of Rajouri and J&K police has failed to solve them.

“We want immediate reshuffling of current attending Rajouri police personnel so these murders can be stopped.

“The victim was hospitalised and lost his life after few days”, a protestor said.

“The killing of our brother Bhupinder Sharma (25) raises questions on the law and order situation in Rajouri which is completely disturbed now.

“In just one year 5-6 murder cases has appeared from Palma, Saranu, Kha Jhamola areas of Rajouri, which are still unsolved.

“The crime rate in Pir-Panjal region is rising upwards and there is a need to tight security grid at a major level.

“The Police should accept their failure as they’re unable to nab any accused person and we can’t lose our youngsters like that and we’re with the bereaved family members in their struggle”, another protestor said.
