Shocking: Teacher beated student for writing ‘Jai Shree Ram’ in Jammu school

Jammu: A shocking incident has come to fore in which a minor school student was beaten by his school teacher for allegedly writing ‘Jai Shree Ram’ in a govt school in Bani area of Kathua yesterday.
As per the report, the incident happened at Government Higher Secondary School Bani, Kathua where a minor school student was thrashed by his teacher for writing ‘Jai Shree Ram’ on the class blackboard.

The accused teacher has been identified as Farooq Ahmed a lecturer appointed at Government Higher Secondary School, Bani of Kathua district, while the school principal’s name is Mohd Hafeez.
After the incident the locals of the area staged a protest along with parents to arrest the accused teacher.
On the basis of victim’s parents SHO PS Bani Arjun Mangotra registered an FIR NO. 51/ 2023 U/S 342, 323, 504, 506, 75 Juvenile Justice act of the IPC against the accused.
