1 dead, two injured in Road accident in J-K

Srinagar: A man died while two others suffered injuries in a road accident in HMT area here on city outskirts in Srinagar on Saturday.
As per report, the mishap occurred when a speeding Figo car in which a husband and wife were travelling hit a pedestrian on the road in HMT area of Srinagar, following which the victim sustained critical injuries.

After the untoward incident, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Ali Bhat (50) r/o Odina village Laspora of Bandipora while the injured have been identified as Mohd Iqbal Mir and Shagufta Iqbal of Trahgam of Kupwara, who were taken to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for the treatment and they have been said to be stable.
However, the police has registered a case in this matter and a probe is on.
