J-K: Sarpanch arrested for running prostitution business

The Nowgam police on Thursday arrested a man for running a prostitution business in his house in Shan Mohalla area of Nowgam in Srinagar.
The accused was identified as Abdul Razak Najar S/o Abdul khalil Najar R/o Chan Mohalla nowgam also arrested in this flesh trade case along with three women and two men, who were nabbed by the police yesterday.

The accused Sarpanch also has affiliation with a regional political party as per police sources and wilfully provided his residence for the flesh trade.
An FIR No. 131/2023 U/S 3,4,5,8 Immoral Traffic Prevention Act stands registered at Nowgam Police station against the accused.
