J&K: Prostitution racket busted, several arrested

Srinagar: The Nowgam police busted a prostitution being operated in a rented building at Shan Mohalla area of Nowgam of Srinagar yesterday.
As per sources, when locals of the mentioned area complaint about the illicit flesh trade being run in their area then Nowgam police swung into action and raided the said place and arrested three local women and two men.
An FIR 131/2023 under sections 3,4,8 of Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act registered at Nowgam PS.
