Jammu: Locals take out ‘Tiranga’ rally

Jammu: Locals in Poonch on Sunday took out a Tiranga rally led by BJP leader Gurdeep Singh Sharaf along with Parwaz Chouhan, the vice-president of the J&K BJP’s Minority Morcha  in Poonch, in which a large number of people from Hindu, Muslim, Sikh community participated.

The rally passed through different areas of Poonch and then culminated at the memorial of Martyr Manjit Singh there.

“Since 2014 there is a movement of  ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign going on across the country.

“Earlier people were afraid to pick up National flag in J&K which was also said by Mehbooba that there will be no one left to pick up Tiranga after rolling back of Article-370.

“This is our reply to PDP chief that this the same J&K where tricolours are being seen in every part of the region.

“Where she said that no will pick up tricolour after scrapping of J&K’s special status. This all become possible by our PM Narendra Modi, said, BJP leader Gurdeep Singh Sharaf.

“There are conspiracies going on here and by our neighbouring country Pak to disturb the peace and harmony in J-K.

“But through this rally we want to deliver a message that people belonging to diverse community love their country here.

“People are picking up the national flag with pride in every part and nook of the country.

“We will keep the tiranaga in our hands till our last breathe as we all love our country”, another participant “, added.
