                 1 Hurt in Road accident in Jammu

Jammu: A 25-year-old pedestrian was fatally knocked down on Thursday by a speeding bike when he was crossing the road on National highway in Bari Brahmana in Jammu.
According to the report, the accident happened when a speeding biker who was driving rashly hit a man who was crossing the road from the Teli Basti roadside to the other side of the National highway in Jammu, following which the victim suffered injuries.

After the accident the locals rushed the victim to GMC Jammu for the treatment. However, after hitting the man the biker sped away and left the scene of accident abandoning the wounded victim.
The injured has been identified as Sourav Singh (25) s/o Kuldeep Singh r/o Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana in Samba of Jammu.
