1 wounded in Road mishap in Jammu

Jammu: A man was injured when he met with a road mishap in Digiana area of Jammu last night. However, the identity of the injured is yet to be known.
The ill fated scooty bearing registration number (JK02CV9827) met with accident at Digiana chowk of Jammu, following which its rider suffered serious wounds.

After the incident a local man informed an ambulance which was going through the spot of accident which took him to GMC Jammu for treatment.
“I was going through this route in my car and saw this man lying here on the road. I don’t know the cause of the accident but the man was yearning in pain and blood was oozing from his head.
“The man was lying unconscious and I sprinkled water on him but he didn’t got consciousness then I tried calling police but it was getting disconnected.
“In the meantime I stopped an ambulance which was passing by and requested its operator to take the victim to hospital or else he will die.
“The ambulance driver heard my plea and put the victim in the ambulance and took him to hospital”, an eyewitness of the accident said.
