Jammu-Kashmir: Locals take out funeral march of J&K’s special status

Several members of Kupwara’s BJP unit led by District Vice President BJP Kupwara Javed Qureshi on Sunday carried out a funeral procession allegedly commemorating the removal of J&K’s special status in Kashmir.
The protestors were heard saying ‘Ye Kya Hai 370 Ka Janaza Hai (Whose Funeral is this, This is Funeral of Article-370′), ‘Article-370 Ka Matlab Kya’ (The meaning of Article-370 is synonym to Bomb blast), ‘Teri Jaan Meri Jaan Hindustan Hindustan'(Mine and Thine life is India) while they were carrying funeral march.

Interacting with the media, District Vice President BJP Kupwara , Mr Javed Qureshi, said, “The fourth anniversary of Article-370 reading down is being celebrated everywhere in J&K.
“The existence of terrorism, dynasty rule of local politicians vanished post-2019 in J&K. There are no more hartals in Kashmir.
“The tourists who were afraid to come in Kashmir are now coming to Kashmir in crores after 2019.
“The separatists who used to instigate kids for stone pelting are no more and the children are showing their interest in other activities.
“The masses of J&K are happy now due to the end of Article-370”, he claimed.
